Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware is seeking a Youth Activity Worker for full-time, hourly work with benefits. The role includes leading club operations, recruiting members, developing programs, and representing the organization in the community. Summer hours may exceed 30 weekly.

Position requires energy, ability to supervise children aged 6–12, and adherence to state licensing standards. Competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must possess 20 years of age or older and valid driver’s license with less than 5 points.
• First Aid/CPR Certification or completion within two months of hire date.
• Must possess a School Age Site Assistant Certificate from the Department of Education
• Level Three requires a School Age Site Coordinator Administrator certificate from the Department of Education

Responsibilities

• Recruit youth and participate in program development and evaluation.
• Engage in community outreach and professional development activities.
• Deliver age-appropriate programs reflecting core areas and youth development strategy.
• Ensure safety and compliance with licensing requirements in all activities.
