Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware is seeking a Youth Activity Worker to support after school programs for ages 6-12. The role involves delivering engaging activities, supervising youth, and ensuring safety and licensing compliance across clubs.

Responsibilities include recruiting members, developing programs, and collaborating with parents and schools. Full-time with benefits; may require flex hours during Summer Fun Club and regional assignments.

Qualifications

• Ages 20+ and ability to drive an 8-passenger van with a valid license and <5 points.
• First Aid/CPR certification, or complete within two months of hire.
• Must have a School Age Site Assistant Certificate from the Department of Education.
• Level Three requires a School Age Site Coordinator Administrator certificate.

Responsibilities

• Lead member recruitment and program development within Youth Development Strategy.
• Deliver age-appropriate programs across core activities (ages 6-12).
• Supervise children and ensure safety and licensing compliance.
• Build relationships with parents, school staff, and community partners.
• Support during Summer Fun Club and adapt hours as needed.
