Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Driver Patrol Access Control in Columbus, OH. You will protect travelers and staff, perform patrols, manage access points, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

You will use company-issued technology to log activities, claim shifts, and coordinate with airport personnel. This role includes a daytime schedule with shift coverage and requires a valid driver’s license, high school diploma, and customer service experience.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required per policy.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Able to use a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation conducted.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and vendors.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of airport terminals, public areas, parking facilities and access points.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and verify credentials.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and report to airport personnel.
• Prepare activity logs and incident reports; maintain professional communication.
