Job summary

UDF-MyScoop Branding is seeking an Assistant Manager for a full-time role in Cincinnati, OH. The position oversees a team and ensures exceptional guest service per The Hi Five framework, while managing store operations, safety, and compliance with alcohol and tobacco sale laws.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, handling daily admin, and ensuring the store remains clean, well-stocked, and secure with accurate cash handling and POS operations.

Qualifications

• Must be legally qualified under applicable state laws to conduct all sales transactions including alcohol and tobacco sales.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers in English.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform essential store duties for full shift.
• Ability to supervise and coach associates and conduct interviews.
• Experience in a fast-paced retail environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage other associates including assigning and monitoring duties and coaching the Hi Five Guest Experience.
• Handle store administration tasks such as ordering, weekly reports, product transfers, and paperwork.
• Deliver the signature Hi Five Guest Experience, greet Guests warmly, ensure readiness of the store.
• Prepare DipSide items and maintain the dip cabinet, ice cream/yogurt products.
• Operate POS and gas cashier with accurate transactions and proper currency handling.
• Stock shelves, keep display areas stocked, rotate stock and monitor dates.
• Maintain store security and cash control procedures.
• Perform maintenance routines and ensure equipment temperatures are within range.
• Complete time records and Customer First documentation accurately.
