Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking a Store Associate to help merchandise and stock products, cashier, and maintain store cleanliness to deliver an excellent shopping experience. Qualifications

• Provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Operate cash registers, POS system, and related equipment.
• Follow ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Accurately process purchases and handle cash.
• Maintain store cleanliness and merchandising standards.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills all customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary.
• Informs store management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Properly utilizes the POS system to scan and process purchases and reports scanning issues.
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures.
• Opens additional check lanes to ensure efficient checkout.
• Stocks shelves and displays neatly following planograms to maximize sales.
• Complete curbside pickup orders and ensure timely delivery to customers.
• Maintain zone and merchandising standards at all times.
• Assist management in achieving operational and loss-prevention goals.
• Identify hazards and maintain a safe working environment.
