Job summary

ALDI USA is hiring a Store Associate in the United States. The role involves merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and keeping the store clean to ensure an excellent customer experience.

You will work with the ALDI team to deliver fast, friendly service and adhere to store policies. The position is full-time with 30+ hours per week and starts at $18.50 per hour, with wage increases planned in subsequent years.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills all customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary.
• Informs store management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Uses the POS system to scan and process purchases and reports issues to management.
• Follows cash policies and procedures.
• Opens additional check lanes to ensure efficient checkout.
• Stocks shelves and displays neatly according to planograms to maximize sales.
• Completes curbside pickup orders and ensures timely delivery.
• Maintains zone and merchandising standards at all times.
• Supports management in achieving operational efficiency and loss goals.
• Complies with company policies and safety practices.
