Job summary

Spring Arbor Senior Living - Salisbury in Midlothian, VA, is seeking a Server for assisted living to greet residents, serve meals, and maintain a clean dining room. Shifts are 7am-3pm or 11am-7pm with no late nights.

Starting pay is $15.80 per hour with higher rates based on experience; this is a full-time, on-site role offering benefits and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
• Must pay attention to detail, be flexible/adaptable, have safety awareness, and be a team player.
• Must have positive Criminal Background Screening.
• The Community is a drug free workplace; associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.
• Food serving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat residents and guests in a timely and professional manner.
• Serve food in an efficient and professional manner.
• Clear tables of glasses, silverware, dishes, etc. when residents and guests have finished a course or their meal.
• Maintain a clean dining room; wipe down chairs, windows, floors, and work areas after every meal period.
• Deliver and retrieve trays to and from residents’ apartments as needed.
• Label and date all food.

Shifts: 7am-3pm & 11am-7pm

The primary responsibility of the Server is to accommodate residents and guests during their dining experience by attending to their needs in a friendly, timely, and professional manner.

Areas of Responsibility

• Greet and seat residents and guests in a timely and professional manner as well as approach and interact with residents and guests in a friendly, service-oriented, and professional manner.
• Serve food in an efficient and professional manner.
• Clear tables of glasses, silverware, dishes, etc. when residents and guests have finished a course or their meal according to Company protocol.
• Maintain a clean dining room. Chairs, windows, floors, and all work areas should be wiped down and sanitized after every meal period.
• Deliver and retrieve trays to and from residents’ apartments as needed.
• Label and date all food.
