Spring Arbor Senior Living – Severna Park is hiring a Dining Server to provide a warm, attentive dining experience for residents in a welcoming Assisted Living community.

The role involves greeting and seating guests, serving meals, clearing tables, and keeping the dining room clean. It features a rotating schedule including every other weekend and requires a positive background screening and being at least 16 years old.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
• Must pay attention to detail, be flexible/adaptable, have safety awareness, and be a team player.
• Must have positive Criminal Background Screening.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat residents and guests in a timely and professional manner, interacting in a friendly, service-oriented way.
• Serve food in an efficient and professional manner.
• Clear tables of glasses, silverware, dishes, etc. when residents and guests have finished a course or their meal according to Company protocol.
• Maintain a clean dining room; wipe down and sanitize chairs, windows, floors and work areas after each meal period.
• Deliver and retrieve trays to and from residents’ apartments as needed.
• Label and date all food.

The primary responsibility of the Server is to accommodate residents and guests during their dining experience by attending to their needs in a friendly, timely, and professional manner.

Areas of Responsibility

• Serve food in an efficient and professional manner.
• Clear tables of glasses, silverware, dishes, etc. when residents and guests have finished a course or their meal according to Company protocol.
