Job summary

Spring Arbor Senior Living of Williamsburg is hiring servers, dining room attendants, waitstaff, and food service associates to join a warm, resident-focused team in Williamsburg, VA.

Starting at $15.38 per hour with higher pay based on experience, full-time and part-time shifts are available, and SAME DAY PAY options are offered.

You will greet, seat, serve, and clear dining areas, maintain cleanliness, and deliver trays to residents while delivering compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must pass background screening.
• Drug-free workplace policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat residents and guests in a timely, professional manner.
• Serve food efficiently and courteously.
• Clear tables and reset dining areas after meals.
• Maintain a clean dining room, wiping and sanitizing after each meal period.
• Deliver and retrieve trays to/from residents' apartments as needed.
• Label and date all food.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Areas of Responsibility

• Greet and seat residents and guests in a timely and professional manner as well as approach and interact with residents and guests in a friendly, service-oriented, and professional manner.
• Serve food in an efficient and professional manner.
• Clear tables of glasses, silverware, dishes, etc. when residents and guests have finished a course or their meal according to Company protocol.
• Maintain a clean dining room. Chairs, windows, floors, and all work areas should be wiped down and sanitized after every meal period.
• Deliver and retrieve trays to and from residents’ apartments as needed.
• Label and date all food.

Required Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Must pay attention to detail, be flexible/adaptable, have safety awareness, and be a team player.
• Must havepositive Criminal Background Screening.

Preferred Qualifications

• Food serving experience preferred.
