West Elm is seeking an Assistant Manager of Sales and Service in the United States to lead the team in delivering World‑Class service and an exceptional customer experience. You will model leadership on the sales floor and help maintain staff coverage across all areas of the store.

The role emphasizes coaching, product knowledge, and a People‑First approach, while working with the team to meet and exceed sales goals.

Formación

• Excellent communication, organization and leadership skills.
• Superior critical thinking to identify challenges and act quickly.
• Great time management and ability to juggle priorities.
• 2–3 years of retail sales or customer-service management experience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the store team to create an exceptional experience for customers and exceed sales goals.
• Ensure the sales floor is adequately staffed and model sales and service excellence.
• Coach staff on successes and challenges to reinforce customer service principles.
• Educate team on product knowledge using Selling Essentials and training resources.
• Foster a positive environment with a People-First approach.
• Resolve client service issues including delivery/pick-up using reporting systems.
