Job summary

ncgCARE in Raleigh, NC seeks a full-time Peer Support Professional to join our Community Support Team. You will provide clinical services, coordinate care, and support clients through daily living activities and housing-related services, with 24/7 access as needed.

The position requires completion of a Peer Support Certification, at least two years of sustained recovery, NVCI certification, and a valid driver’s license; compensation ranges from $36,044 to $46,284 with a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Must have completed certification program for Peer Support Specialists.
• Must have at least two years of sustained recovery from mental health or substance use issues.
• Must become NVCI certified and have training in population served and client rights/confidentiality.
• A valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with care teams as needed.
• Maintain compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
• Provide supervision if applicable based on licensure level.
• Assist in identifying, planning, scheduling, and implementing services for the client.
• Provide written treatment notes, goals, and plans for the medical record.
