Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC seeks a Certified Peer Support Specialist to provide essential peer support within a community‑based setting in North Carolina. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team, advocate for clients, and support recovery through group facilitation and resource navigation.

The role requires NC Peer Support Certification or eligibility, at least one year of relevant experience, and a flexible schedule Monday–Friday in a community-based location.

Qualifications

• NC Peer Support Certification required or eligibility for certification within governing agency.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the supported population.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise to the healthcare team and advocate for clients’ preferences in treatment and activities.
• Meet with clients to offer advice and support per their treatment plan.
• Assist in peer support groups with assigned consumers regularly.
• Support daily decision‑making and resolution of minor problems for consumers.
• Help clients locate resources and encourage follow‑through with proposed resolutions.
• accompany clients to meetings and participate in community group meetings to advocate for consumer needs.
