Job summary

Rebound is seeking a full-time Patient Services Representative to join our Orthopedic and Neurosurgery Scheduling Call Center in the Northwest. You will handle patient communications, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and referral coordination to ensure timely access.

The role requires you to maintain scheduling accuracy, support throughput, and adhere to HIPAA guidelines while collaborating with clinical staff to provide exceptional service to patients and families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in a medical office or call center environment preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and EHR systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Applications.
• Ability to handle a high volume of calls and type accurately.
• Strong communication and reading/writing skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality per HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls for Scheduling Call Center and support Coverage as needed.
• Screen calls and route messages to patients or clinical staff.
• Schedule, coordinate and reschedule patient appointments per provider protocols.
• Verify insurance eligibility and review coverage.
• Follow up on messages and emails in a timely manner.
• Perform outreach for triaged referrals and schedule patients.
• Complete pre-registration information for appointment readiness.
• Monitor Call Center workflow to minimize delays.
• Meet department productivity and quality metrics.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with team members.
