Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in state of practice.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• CNA certification requirements and timelines per Utah state rules.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and deliver basic patient care and comfort measures.
• Report and record patient care findings timely.
• Monitor patient condition and seek assistance as needed.
• Assist with telemetry duties and act as a patient care attendant on unit.
• Transport medications to RN and support interdisciplinary team.
• Assist with health unit coordination tasks as needed.
• Foster a safe environment and follow emergency procedures.
