Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support the patient care team on a clinical unit. The role includes basic patient care tasks, telemetry duties as needed, and potential responsibilities of a Health Unit Coordinator.

You will collaborate with RNs and other team members to ensure safe, compassionate patient care. Applicants must hold a current CNA certification and BLS, with solid computer literacy and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of practice.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Utah CNA requirements may apply at hire (see posting).

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and deliver basic patient care and respond to patient/family requests.
• Report patient care findings and data in a timely manner.
• Monitor patient condition and escalate as needed.
• May perform telemetry duties and assist as a health unit attendant.
• Collaborate with RN and care team to ensure optimal patient care.
