Intermountain Health in Salt Lake City is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Infusion Clinic. The role supports the patient care team with basic care tasks, telemetry, and coordination of unit operations.

Two shifts exist: part-time 20 hours/week and full-time 40 hours/week, with weekend on-call and holiday coverage. Starting pay is $18.40+ per hour, with benefits including health, vision, dental, 401(k), and education assistance.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Utah.
• %20CNA certification must be obtained within 120 days of hire.
• Completion of a recent Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program.

Responsabilités

• Prioritize and deliver basic patient care including toileting, bathing, linen changes, hydration, ambulation and comfort while delivering excellent customer service.
• Record and report patient care findings in a timely manner and escalate changes in patient condition.
• Monitor patients, assist with telemetry as needed, and collaborate with the care team.
• Transport medications from the delivery system to the RN as required.
• Assist with health unit coordinating tasks if needed (phones, orders, unit records).
• Implement plans of care as delegated and perform duties within scope of practice.
