Elevate Eyecare is seeking an Optician to join our team in a full-time role. You will provide personalized eyewear consultations, guide patients in selecting frames, and educate on lens options and coatings.

You’ll collaborate with optometrists to ensure prescriptions align with patient needs and assist with fittings and adjustments. You will play a key role in maintaining a welcoming clinic environment, supporting order placement, inventory, and contact lens fittings as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Optician experience is a plus.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized eyewear consultations based on style, features, and lifestyle.
• Guide patients in frame selection to fit individual needs and preferences.
• Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and enhancements for informed decisions.
• Collaborate with optometrists to align lens recommendations with prescriptions.
• Conduct frame adjustments to ensure comfort and fit.
• Perform minor repairs and adjustments to support customer satisfaction.
• Assist patients in placing orders for eyewear, including lenses and frames.
• Collaborate with team to manage inventory for a well-stocked selection.
• Provide support for contact lens fittings when needed, coordinated with optometrists.
• Cultivate a positive, customer-friendly atmosphere and address concerns empathetically.
