Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Certified phlebotomy technician.
• Experience drawing blood or phlebotomy training.
• Experience in a clinical laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs proper specimen collection (blood and non-blood) adhering to procedures and safety standards.
• Collects, verifies, and processes patient registration data and test orders into HIS/LIS with ABN compliance.
• Processes specimens according to established guidelines.
• Maintains a safe, clean work environment and follows infection-control policies.
• Performs waived tests and assists in other testing platforms with technical oversight.
• Assists in quality control and performance improvement activities.
