TownePlace Suites Latham is seeking a Full-Time Front Desk Agent to join their team in Latham, NY. The property is part of Buffalo Lodging Associates and offers 114 pet-friendly suites, with an indoor pool and fitness center.

Responsibilities include guest check-in/out, reservations, and providing exceptional service. Ideal candidates bring hotel front desk experience, familiarity with property management systems, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a hotel setting preferred.
• Marriott experience is a plus.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Computer knowledge including intranet, property management system, Word, and Excel is strongly preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and complete check-in/check-out via the property management system while obtaining and storing pertinent information.
• Handle cash, credit card information and goods at the property.
• Identify guest needs and provide information about hotel services and amenities to create an accommodating environment; respond to guest requests promptly.
• Take reservations from incoming calls and input all information into the hotel management system; update and cancel reservations as requested.
• Typical Schedule: Morning Shifts 7AM-3PM; Evening Shifts 3PM-11PM; weekend availability required; flexibility needed.
