Job summary

Ohio Living is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality daily nursing care in accordance with standards and the Plan of Care, supporting residents with ADLs, nutrition, hydration, and safety.

No prior experience is required; on-the-job training is provided. Applicants must be in good standing with the Ohio Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry and able to read, write, speak, and understand English. This is a full-time on-site role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in good standing on the Ohio Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily resident/patient care per nursing procedures and as directed by the Charge Nurse.
• Maintains the Plan of Care for residents/patients.
• Assists with activities of daily living (ADL) including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, mobility and safety.
• Assists with dying resident care and post-mortem care as needed.
• Observes and reports skin integrity issues and pressure areas.
• Records admissions, measurements, intake/output, temperature, weight, in EMR or as directed.
• Reports changes in patient condition to Charge Nurse and communicates concerns.
