Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking a Psychiatric Technician to join the Emergency Psychiatric Empath Unit, located in the Generose building. You will provide compassionate, immediate care for adults and children in a fast-paced environment while supporting a multidisciplinary team.

Under RN direction, you will promote safety, assist with treatment plans, and lead social activities that reinforce milieu therapy concepts to help patients recover and regain resilience.

Qualifications

• High school graduate and 21 years of age minimum.
• 12 college credits preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or provided during orientation.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct and indirect patient care for adults and children.
• Support treatment programs under RN direction.
• Promote safety and monitor milieu; escalate concerns as needed.
• Lead social activities and therapy-related group activities.
• Assist with daily living activities and routine tasks.
