Job summary

Responsibilities include direct and indirect patient care, milieu management, and leading social activities to support recovery, safety, and engagement in the treatment plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, 21+ years old.
• Experience in a psychiatric hospital setting preferred.
• Experience with 24/7 residential programs or psychiatry/psychology-based programs preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations in stressful situations.
• Basic computer and keyboarding skills; ability to use Microsoft Office and electronic clinic documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care for adults and children in acute mental health crises.
• Assist with treatment programs and milieu activities to promote recovery.
• Lead social activities, games and crafts to engage patients in therapy concepts.
• Maintain safety observations and assess the milieu; escalate concerns as needed.
