Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking a Psychiatric Technician for the Emergency Psychiatric Empath Unit. The role focuses on compassionate, immediate care for adults and children experiencing acute mental health crises, with a multidisciplinary team approach and emphasis on patient-centered, evidence-based practices.

The position offers full-time hours in a Generose building site, with a schedule that includes day and night shifts and a supportive clinical environment.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent; must be 21+ years old.
• Experience in a psychiatric hospital setting or 12 college credits preferred.
• Experience with 24/7 residential/psychiatry programs preferred.
• Ability to work with diverse populations under stress.
• Proficient computer skills and electronic charting.
• Ability to multitask under stress.
• Ability to communicate, collaborate and manage relationships with interdisciplinary teams.
• Basic skills in cleaning, cooking, and meal preparation.
