Job summary

PhoenixAI in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a hands-on Recruiter to scale our team across GTM, R&D, and G&A. You’ll partner with hiring managers from intake to offer, shaping how we recruit as we grow.

This full-cycle role requires strong sourcing, excellent communication, and the ability to build scalable processes. You’ll own pipeline development, lead offers, and advise leadership on market conditions and candidate experience.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience at high-growth tech or B2B SaaS companies, with deep expertise in either GTM or technical hiring.
• Track record recruiting at a fast-paced startup environment, ideally at a Series B or similar growth stage.
• Strong sourcing skills and a track record of filling competitive roles without relying on inbound volume.
• Hands-on with Rippling (or a comparable ATS) and LinkedIn Recruiter; comfortable owning scheduling and coordination where needed.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management, with experience partnering directly with executives across functions.
• Comfort with ambiguity and building process from scratch.
• Familiarity with the data infrastructure, database space a plus.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for roles across GTM, R&D, and G&A, from intake through offer and close.
• Partner with hiring managers and leadership across functions to define role requirements, hiring plans, and interview processes.
• Build and manage pipeline for competitive roles through sourcing, referrals, and outbound outreach.
• Recruit technical roles in R&D and the field (such as Solutions Architect), partnering with technical interviewers to set and hold a consistent bar.
• Act as a strategic advisor to hiring managers on market conditions, compensation benchmarking, and candidate experience.
• Manage candidate experience end-to-end, ensuring timely communication and a smooth interview process.
• Lead offer negotiation and close, working directly with candidates through to acceptance.
• Track and report on recruiting metrics (pipeline health, time-to-fill, conversion rates) to inform hiring strategy.
• Establish and refine scalable recruiting processes, tooling, and documentation as the team grows.
