Job summary

Valley First a division of Tru Cooperative Bank is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist in Modesto, CA to lead full life-cycle recruitment. You will partner with hiring managers, source and screen candidates, and drive the hiring process from posting to offer.

The role requires 3–5 years of recruiting experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and strong communication and organizational skills in a financial services environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of full life-cycle recruitment experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Financial industry experience preferred.
• 3+ years of Microsoft Office experience to include Word, Outlook and Excel, as well as PDF editing experience.
• Excellent active listening and communications skills.
• Ability to switch from one task to another while maintaining organization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage job searches including: developing search strategies to include diverse pipelines of talent, utilizing ATS to track candidates, screen resumes, schedule and conduct phone interviews, compile interviewer feedback, source/mine passive candidates through social media and shepherd the hiring process with hiring managers toward decision and offer status.
• Partners closely with hiring managers to coordinate all staffing needs.
• Uses traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates such as career fairs, on-line job boards, community network events and social media.
• Assists with job posting and advertising campaigns (internal and external) in order to ensure high visibility with potential candidates.
• Pro-active follow up with candidates and hiring manager through the ATS to ensure that all information regarding the interview process/status is updated.
• Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal staff/hiring managers and external vendors to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
• Assists in the development and accomplishment of long-term objectives, strategic plan initiatives policies and procedures in relation to recruitment within the HR department.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
