Job summary

The Valley District in California is seeking an energetic Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our recruiting team. This hands-on role focuses on sourcing, screening, and guiding candidates through licensing and placement within our growing network of Farmers agencies.

You will use Workable daily, conduct high-volume phone screenings, coordinate interviews, and keep candidates moving with timely communications.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment or talent acquisition preferred.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Customer-service mindset and people orientation.

Responsibilities

• Source and connect with candidates through Indeed, LinkedIn, referrals, and other channels.
• Review applications and identify candidates who align with opportunities.
• Conduct high-volume phone screenings and evaluate candidate qualifications.
• Schedule and coordinate virtual and in-person interviews.
• Communicate with candidates by phone, text, and email throughout the recruiting process.
• Use Workable, our applicant tracking system (ATS), daily to manage recruiting activity and candidate communications.
• Maintain accurate candidate profiles, interview notes, pipeline stages, tasks, and follow-up activity.
• Utilize scheduling and automation tools to keep candidates moving efficiently through the process.
• Support candidates through licensing and help keep them on track.
• Coordinate next steps with candidates, agency owners, and district leadership.
• Assist with candidate placement into sales, development, and agency ownership opportunities.
• Track recruiting activity, interviews, licensing progress, placements, and hires.
• Re-engage strong candidates for future opportunities.
• Provide a positive, professional, and responsive candidate experience.
