The Valley District in Monterey, CA is hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our recruiting team. This hands-on, fast-paced role focuses on sourcing, screening, and guiding candidates through licensing and placement within our Farmers Insurance agency network.

You will manage high-volume phone screenings, coordinate interviews, and maintain candidate records in Workable. The ideal candidate is outgoing, organized, data-driven, and thrives in a collaborative, results-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Source and connect with candidates via Indeed, LinkedIn, referrals, and other channels.
• Conduct high-volume phone screenings and evaluate qualifications.
• Coordinate virtual and in-person interviews and manage candidate communications.
• Use Workable ATS daily to manage recruiting activity and candidate communications.
• Maintain accurate candidate profiles, interview notes, pipeline stages, tasks, and follow-up activity.

Responsibilities

• Guide candidates through the recruiting process from first contact to placement.
• Schedule and coordinate interviews (virtual and in-person).
• Support candidates through insurance licensing and progress tracking.
• Track recruiting activity, interviews, licensing progress, placements, and hires.
• Re-engage strong candidates for future opportunities.
