Job summary

Current Lighting is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage full-cycle recruiting for hourly, professional, and technical roles. You will partner with hiring managers, create requisitions in the ATS, source candidates, and coordinate offers and onboarding to ensure a smooth hire.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in recruiting, strong interviewing and organizational skills, and comfortable working across organizational levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, or related HR experience.
• Experience managing multiple open requisitions simultaneously.
• Strong interviewing, relationship-building, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with hiring managers and candidates at all organizational levels.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment activities for hourly, professional, and technical positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop recruitment strategies, and provide guidance throughout the hiring process.
• Create and post job requisitions through the ATS and external recruitment platforms.
• Source qualified candidates through job boards, social media, employee referrals, networking, and other recruiting channels.
• Conduct candidate screenings and interviews to evaluate qualifications, experience, and organizational fit.
• Coordinate and facilitate interview scheduling and communication between candidates and hiring teams.
• Maintain accurate candidate and requisition records within the ATS and HR systems.
• Manage candidate communications throughout the recruiting lifecycle, ensuring a professional and positive experience.
• Prepare and coordinate employment offers, background checks, and pre-employment activities.
• Support onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
• Participate in career fairs, campus recruiting initiatives, and community outreach events.
• Monitor recruiting metrics and provide regular updates on requisition status, candidate pipelines, and hiring trends.
• Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, EEO requirements, and company recruiting policies.
