Job summary

Magnolia is seeking a Recruiting Specialist to drive full-cycle recruiting for an assigned portfolio, from sourcing through offer acceptance. You will partner with hiring managers and the People Team to understand staffing needs and deliver a values-driven candidate experience.

You will manage the ATS, coordinate interviews, extend offers, and participate in hiring events. This role is based at Magnolia Headquarters in Waco, TX, reporting to the Recruiting Manager, with no supervisory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
• 2–4 years of related recruiting experience.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems and hiring processes.

Responsibilities

• Confer with managers and People Team leadership to identify personnel needs.
• Partner with hiring managers to build role profiles, define candidate criteria, and set timelines.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and hiring policies within budget.
• Review applications and conduct initial phone screens for qualifications and culture fit.
• Maintain ATS with candidate information and status changes (Greenhouse preferred).
• Create job postings and market to potential candidates.
• Assist with documentation of internal hiring and transfer processes.
• Extend offers and negotiate terms with Recruiting Manager as needed.
• Represent Magnolia at job fairs and hiring events.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute hiring events for frontline units.
• Arrange on-site visit schedules and host candidates.
• Perform reference and background checks and organize pre-arrival onboarding.
