Job summary

Dayton Freight Lines is seeking a Corporate Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruiting for Service Center and Shop locations. You will source, screen, interview, and extend offers, while partnering with managers to match staffing needs and qualifications.

You will analyze recruiting processes, develop pipelines through colleges, social media, and job boards, and maintain performance metrics to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business or related field required.
• At least 2 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting mechanics preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to build trust and relationships with stakeholders.
• Excellent organization and time management; works independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-life cycle recruiting for Service Center and Shop roles, including sourcing, screening, interviews, offers.
• Develop recruitment strategies and optimize processes for efficiency.
• Handle iCIMS based interview workflow for requisitions.
• Identify local colleges/ career centers to build candidate pipelines.
• Set and pursue short- and long-term recruiting objectives for Service Center and Shop roles.
• Allocate budget for job postings and ads with sound judgment.
• Partner with hiring managers to define staffing needs and qualifications.
• Develop data reports and metrics to drive improvements.
• Source candidates via social media, job boards, referrals, agencies, etc.
• Coordinate career fairs and presentations; interview cadences with managers.
• Assist with internship and trainee recruitment as needed.
