Job summary

Candor Consulting and Diagnostics, LLC is seeking a diligent Bookkeeper in a hybrid role based in Salado, TX (on-site days to be confirmed). You will own timecard review, payroll processing for employees and contractors, and end-to-end accounts receivable, ensuring invoices go out promptly and balances are accurate.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of bookkeeping experience, proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel, and a strong eye for detail.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years bookkeeping experience, including payroll processing.
• Experience managing timecards/timekeeping for hourly or field staff.
• Experience with accounts receivable and invoicing.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks (or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential payroll data.
• Ability to work independently and meet payroll deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Collect, review, and approve timecards from field staff.
• Own full-cycle payroll processing for employees and contractors.
• Manage accounts receivable end to end: invoices, aging, follow-up.
• Reconcile payroll and bank accounts monthly.
• Maintain payroll and billing records; serve as go-to for staff queries.
• Partner with Operations on staffing changes affecting payroll and billing.
• Support month-end close and ad hoc financial reporting.
