Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Payroll Administrator to oversee full-cycle payroll processing for 350-400 staff across multi-state operations in Willowbrook, IL. This on-site, full-time role requires managing union fringe reporting, wage garnishments, and multi-state tax withholdings.

You will audit DoForms timekeeping, ensure ERP data integration, and act as the payroll liaison for employees while collaborating with office management on reporting tasks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-cycle payroll processing experience (construction or utility industry preferred).
• Demonstrated experience handling complex union fringe benefit reporting and collective bargaining requirements.
• Exposure to ERP systems (Penta ERP is a strong plus) and digital time-capture tools.
• Associate degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Flexibility to work minimal overtime or holiday weekend hours when required by payroll schedules.

Responsibilities

• Execute accurate full-cycle multi-state payroll processing for roughly 350-400 active personnel.
• Process and manage union benefit reports, contributions, and compliance for various trade agreements (including outside electrical/utility locals).
• Audit electronic mobile timesheets (DoForms) and integrate timekeeping data into the central ERP system.
• Handle multi-state tax withholdings, wage garnishments, tax levies, and statutory compliance tasks.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and serve as the main contact for employee payroll inquiries.
• Collaborate with office management on routine administrative and reporting duties.
