Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, HR, or related field.
• Five to seven years of related experience.
• Extensive knowledge of payroll processing, taxes, and compliance.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with multi-state and multi-union payroll.

Responsibilities

• Implements and maintains payroll processing for salaries, commissions, bonuses, and deductions.
• Manages updates for new hires, terminations, and pay rate changes.
• Maintains records and reports of payroll transactions.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws.
• Supports audits with records and documentation.
• Generates payroll analytics and reporting.
• Coordinates with compensation on annual merit planning.
• Identifies updates to payroll systems and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
