Job summary

Dayton Freight Lines is seeking a Corporate Recruiter responsible for full-cycle recruiting across all Service Center and Shop locations. You will partner with managers to identify staffing needs, source candidates, interview onsite, extend offers, and manage pipelines.

You will analyze recruiting processes, develop strategies, track performance metrics, and maintain data reports to drive improvements while posting jobs and representing the company at career events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting qualified Mechanics, preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Comfortable making decisions independently.
• Proficient in interview techniques and applicant screening methods.
• Self-starter, able to work in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-life cycle recruiting for Service Center and Shop roles including developing successful recruitment strategies, sourcing & screening candidates, participating in onsite interviews, soliciting feedback, and extending/negotiating offers.
• Develop and maintain data reports and performance metrics to drive improvements.
• Develop and source a strong pipeline of candidates using a variety of methods including social media, job boards, LinkedIn, Indeed, employee referrals, search agencies, etc.
