Job summary

Comfort Systems of Montana in Bozeman, MT is seeking an Office Manager and Full Charge Bookkeeper to own the books, payroll, HR onboarding, and office operations. This full-time, in-office role partners with service coordinators and project managers to keep finances accurate and the office running like a well-oiled machine.

You will manage AP/AR, reconciliations, month-end close, and provide monthly reports, while coordinating IT, benefits, and vendor relations to support a high-performance HVAC

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full charge bookkeeping experience, including month end close, AR, AP, and reconciliations.
• Payroll processing experience required, including commissions and bonuses.
• Experience with onboarding, benefits administration, and HR recordkeeping.
• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online; QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification is a plus.
• ServiceTitan experience is a strong plus, or a proven ability to learn new software quickly.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Own accounts payable: code vendor bills, manage payments, and vendor relationships.
• Own accounts receivable: invoice, track aging, and drive collections.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and loan accounts monthly.
• Own month end close in QuickBooks Online with CPA oversight.
• Prepare monthly financial reports: P&L, balance sheet, AR/AP aging.
• Maintain clean general ledger and chart of accounts.
• Keep ServiceTitan and QuickBooks Online in sync for invoices and job data.
• Support year end, tax preparation, and document organization.
• Process bi-weekly payroll via ServiceTitan and QuickBooks Online.
• Review timesheets, commissions, bonuses, and deductions.
