Job summary

Our client, a leading manufacturer of prefabricated aluminum shelters and enclosures, is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join the team in Clifton, New Jersey. This role reports directly to management and requires strong integrity and confidentiality handling.

You will manage the full accounting cycle—AP, AR, payroll and GL—prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financials, reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts, and support external accountants with tax filings and audits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of bookkeeping experience.
• Experience with AP/AR, payroll, GL.
• Ability to prepare financial statements with accuracy.

Our client, a leading manufacturer of prefabricated aluminum shelters and enclosures serving transit agencies, government organizations, corporations, educational institutions, and healthcare facilities throughout the United States and Canada, is seeking an Full charge bookkeeper to join our team in New Jersey.

Responsibilities

Manage the full accounting cycle, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries. Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports. Process payroll and maintain payroll records. Monitor cash flow and track company expenses. Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations. Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Support external accountants with tax filings, audits, and year-end close. Maintain organized financial documentation and records. Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and issues.

Requirements

3+ years of full charge bookkeeping experience. Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles. Experience managing AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger functions. Proficiency in QuickBooks and/or other accounting software. Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Experience preparing financial statements and reports. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
