RRD Company in Buffalo Grove, IL is seeking a Production/Operations professional to support manufacturing, ensuring production specifications are met and safety and quality standards are maintained. You will audit processes, guide staff, and coordinate training while maintaining records and reports.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement and cross-department collaboration to meet production specs and organizational goals.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years experience in a manufacturing/operations environment.
• Ability to apply policies, procedures, regulations, and program objectives in daily duties.
• Basic knowledge of technology including MS Office and related software.

Responsabilidades

• Provide instruction and guidance to employees and audit work processes and products to confirm production specifications are met
• Maintain positive and effective relationships with employees. Direct employees to the appropriate manager regarding policy questions
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standard, policies and procedures. Report any problems, potential problems, hazardous situations to management
• Inspect products and/or shipments to verify conformance to specifications
• Review and approve production samples, and/or shipments as necessary
• Assist management with implementation of “Continuous Improvement” initiatives
• Maintain records; compile standard reports, file, tabulate, and perform routine clerical tasks
• When necessary, attend production meetings and/or confer with other departments to coordinate production activities
• Coordinate or perform training for new employees, contract workers, and/or guests to ensure safety, quality, and production requirements are understood
