Job summary

RRD, a global provider of marketing, packaging, print, and supply chain solutions, is seeking a production/operations associate for its facility in the United States. The role focuses on ensuring production specifications are met, maintaining safety and quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities include guiding staff, auditing processes, inspecting shipments, and coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth production flow.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing/operations environment.
• Ability to apply applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and program objectives.
• May provide oversight of junior staff and review/audit work for accuracy.
• Must have basic knowledge of technology including MS Office and related software.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and guidance to employees and audit work processes to confirm production specifications are met.
• Maintain positive relationships and direct employees to the appropriate manager for policy questions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and procedures; report problems to management.
• Inspect products/shipments to verify conformance to specifications.
• Review and approve production samples and shipments as necessary.
• Assist management with Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Maintain records and perform routine clerical tasks.
• Attend production meetings and coordinate with other departments.
• Coordinate or perform training for new employees, contractors, and guests to ensure safety and production requirements are understood.
