Job summary

RRD in Buffalo Grove, IL seeks a Production/Operations Associate to guide employees, audit processes, and ensure production specifications are met while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will inspect products, coordinate training, and participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives while maintaining records. This role requires basic computer skills, good communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or operations experience preferred.
• Able to follow policies and procedures.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Basic math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and audit work processes to ensure production specs.
• Maintain relationships with employees and route questions to management.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Inspect products and shipments for conformance to specifications.
• Coordinate or perform training for new employees and contractors.
• Attend production meetings and coordinate with other departments to align production activities.
• Maintain records and prepare routine reports.
