Job summary

RRD is seeking a Production & Manufacturing supervisor for the 1st shift in Dallas, TX. You will guide staff, audit processes, and ensure production meets quality and safety standards.

You will coordinate with multiple departments, approve setups and shipments, and drive continuous improvement. Candidates should have 2+ years in manufacturing, strong MS Office skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years in a manufacturing/operations environment.
• Proficient with computers and software (MS Office, MAC word processing, spreadsheets).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with deadline management.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and guidance to employees and audit work processes to ensure production specifications are met.
• Maintain positive relationships and direct employees to the appropriate manager about policy questions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, policies, and procedures; report problems or hazards to management.
• Inspect products/shipments to verify conformance to specs.
• Review and approve machine setups, production samples, or shipments as needed.
• Identify opportunities for continual improvement.
• Attend production meetings and coordinate with other departments to schedule activities.
• Coordinate or perform training for new employees, contract workers, and guests to ensure safety and production requirements.
