Job summary

RRD is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Buffalo Grove, IL to assist with filling and packaging orders for shipment. You will help maintain the warehouse and inventory of products, and support training and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities include picking or packaging printed materials, assembling into boxes, operating warehouse management software, labeling, stacking, and meeting productivity standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret job specifications and identify correct parts.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of routine packing procedures and warehouse procedures.
• Able to stock, move, arrange, and rotate items.
• Able to complete stock description forms and labeling requirements.
• Willing to flex schedule and overtime if needed.
• Must be able to use a ladder for picking.

Responsibilities

• Pick or package a variety of printed materials or related items using packing procedures.
• Assemble finished products into boxes or containers for shipping.
• Operate warehouse management software.
• Label packages and prepare manuals/binders as needed.
• Place, arrange, seal, and tag items on pallets or in containers.
• Meet productivity and quality standards.
• Identify issues and escalate to leadership.
• Assist with training and continuous improvement of staff.
• Count and sort various product items.
• Load/unload materials onto pallets or into trucks as required.
