Job summary

Collectors is seeking an Operations Director to lead all fulfillment tasks from our grading centers. You will own on-site fulfillment and outbound logistics, scaling operations from thousands to tens of thousands of items annually while ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and service KPIs are met.

You will partner with Product and Engineering to implement new tech solutions, develop leaders, and drive continuous improvement across multi-team operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of proven operational and leadership experience in light manufacturing, warehousing, or fulfillment centers.
• Proven ability to drive business performance in production, logistics, and quality excellence.
• Track record of designing and implementing processes to drive speed and quality at scale.
• Ability to translate annual priorities into a local operating plan with focus on delivery and turnaround times.
• Collaborative, change-management oriented leader who moves with urgency and empowers leaders to deliver at scale.
• Continuous improvement mindset to increase quality and efficiency.
• Data-driven with strong process focus and decision-making in ambiguous situations.

Responsibilities

• Own on-site fulfillment and outbound logistics at Grading Centers.
• Scale operations from thousands of items per year to tens of thousands, including capacity planning and staffing.
• Own safety, quality (accuracy), productivity, throughput, and service KPIs and drive accountability.
• Provide production planning and coordination for multi-team operations.
• Drive continuous improvement to increase throughput, efficiency, and quality; standardize scalable processes.
• Develop leaders in partnership with People team and align to business strategy.
• Manage site risk across safety, security, and insurance with governance.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to implement new tech solutions that unlock gains.
• Cascade functional strategy and manage actions impacting multi-department budgets.
• Lead across departments with clear methods and evaluation criteria for results.
