Job summary

Collectors Universe, Inc. is seeking an experienced senior operations leader to own on-site fulfillment and outbound logistics across our grading centers.

You will scale operations, drive safety, quality, and productivity metrics, and translate yearly objectives into executable plans for multiple teams. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in GM/Director-level operations, a track record of improving throughput and quality at scale, and a collaborative, data-driven approach to leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of proven operational and leadership experience in GM/Director level roles within light manufacturing, warehousing, or fulfillment centers.
• Proven ability to drive business performance in production, logistics, and quality excellence.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing processes to drive consistency, speed, and quality of customer care at scale.
• Ability to translate annual priorities into a local operating plan focusing on delivery turnaround and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Own on-site fulfillment and outbound logistics at all grading centers.
• Scale operations from thousands to tens of thousands of items per year with capacity planning and staffing.
• Own and deliver safety, quality, productivity, throughput, and service KPIs across teams.
• Provide production planning and coordination, translating priorities into executable work plans for multi-team operations.
• Drive CPI to increase throughput, efficiency, and quality; standardize scalable processes.
• Build a high-ownership culture emphasizing accuracy, urgency, and discipline.
• Develop leaders in partnership with People team to align with business strategy.
• Manage site risk across safety, security, and insurance through cross-functional collaboration.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to implement new tech solutions for operational gains.
• Cascade strategy and ensure operational effectiveness, managing budgets and actions across departments.
• Lead managers across departments to set methods and evaluation criteria for results.
• Communicate with senior stakeholders to reconcile views and ensure schedules/budgets meet requirements.
• Lead by example and uphold all company policies including safety and attendance.
• Frequent travel to grading centers to oversee fulfillment teams.
