Job summary

Amazon is seeking an entry-level Area Manager to lead a team of hourly Associates in a California operations site. This full-time role focuses on mentoring, motivating, and developing staff to meet safety, quality, attendance and performance goals on the production floor.

You'll receive extensive training to become a strong people leader, with opportunities across our fulfillment network. Shifts may include nights, weekends, and holidays depending on site needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with all requirements completed between May 2024 and August 2026.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates.
• Motivate and develop your team to meet safety, quality, attendance and performance goals.
• Coordinate with operations to ensure efficient workflow and timely outputs.
