Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager for on-site leadership in one of its fulfillment centers.|You will mentor a team of 50-100 associates, drive safety, quality and productivity, and ensure high standards while managing daily operations on the warehouse floor.

The role requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field, strong communication, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment. Relocation benefits may apply.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or holding a bachelor’s or master's degree with all requirements met before start.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s program for Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor and motivate 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates.
• Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment.
• Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Willing and able to regularly work shift patterns that include nights, weekends, and/or holidays with a typical 4-day work week.
• Oversee truck deliveries, handle and sort packages using pallet jacks, operate PIT equipment.
• Work in a variable-noise environment and lift up to 49 pounds.
