Job summary

ShipMonk is seeking a Senior Manager of Fulfillment Center Operations to lead day-to-day performance across inbound, outbound, and inventory functions within our growing network. You will build labor plans, forecast demand, and partner with engineers to balance staffing while coaching 3–7 supervisors and 50–200+ hourly associates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 6–8 years of fulfillment center or distribution operations experience.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and labor management systems.
• Lean or Six Sigma certification preferred; apply process improvement methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day performance of a functional area or shift, ensuring safety, productivity, and quality.
• Build and manage productivity plans by reviewing forecasts and labor requirements.
• Lead and develop 3–7 Supervisors and 50–200+ hourly associates, coaching performance.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluations.
• Drive clear communication and take corrective action when needed.
• Drive safety, quality, engagement, and productivity improvements across the facility.
