Job summary

Shipfusion is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a brand new fulfillment center, driving efficiency and employee engagement. The role involves supervising daily warehouse activities, achieving service levels, and collaborating with customer support and account management to meet client needs.

You will manage a team of 10–50 employees, promote a safe work environment, and implement creative solutions for daily challenges in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience leading an operations team in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to learn new technologies and custom proprietary softwares quickly.
• Ability to hire, coach, train, and manage a team of 10 to 50 employees.
• An ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast paced changing environment.
• Detail Oriented, Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills.
• Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus).
• Understanding of OSHA and regulatory compliance is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent (College degree preferred).
• Experience with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the warehouse operates at maximum efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal by managing, organizing, training, and providing direction for a team of warehouse employees.
• Achieving all operational goals and service levels alongside the operations leadership team.
• Finding creative solutions for day-to-day operational challenges.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
• Direct and manage team in a way that promotes equality, consistency, and the feeling of value from team members.
• Supervise daily activities of the warehouse including order fulfillment, quality assurance, inventory control, and logistics coordination.
• Manage eCommerce order fulfillment while achieving established service levels.
• Work directly with our Customer Support and Account Manager teams to ensure client deliverables are met.
• Oversee dynamic and changing customer needs such as special packaging, kitting, and bundling projects.
• Lead a highly productive and engaged team while removing obstacles to drive operational efficiencies.
• Support new client onboarding and creative fulfillment processes.
• May be required to perform other duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
