Job summary

ShipMonk is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a fulfillment center team in Louisville, KY. You will guide a group of 3-7 Supervisors and 50-200+ hourly associates, shaping safety culture, quality, and performance through hands-on coaching and data-driven decisions.

In this role, you will mentor leaders, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate across shifts to meet or exceed productivity targets while maintaining strict compliance and a focus on people development.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred or higher.
2-3 years supervisory experience in e-commerce/warehousing.
1-2 years management experience (salaried direct-reports).
Experience across two+ e-commerce/warehousing functions (Outbound, Inbound, Inventory, VAS).
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Proven ability to exceed targets with data-driven actions.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain a safe work environment for all associates and leaders.
Lead and develop a team of 3-7 front-line Supervisors and 50-200+ hourly associates.
Act as primary information source, ensure compliance, and take corrective action as needed.
Mentor, train, and develop teammates for progression and performance.
Create, communicate and maintain quality control policies and continuous improvement initiatives across teams and shifts.
Identify and lead process improvements for Safety, Quality, and Productivity.
Build and deliver productivity plans by reviewing forecasts and balancing labor daily/weekly.
Review performance data with Supervisors and ensure adherence to goals.
