Job summary

ShipMonk in Louisville, KY is seeking a Senior Manager of Fulfillment Center Operations to scale high-performing teams and drive our 12+ owned fulfillment centers. You will establish procedures, oversee safety, budget and P&L, and ensure KPI targets are met while maintaining strong cross-functional collaboration with sales and customer service.

The role requires 6–8 years in Supply Chain/ Fulfillment Center operations, experience with WMS, Lean Six Sigma certification, and leadership of 40+

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Operations, Fulfillment Center Operations, or Distribution Center Operations.
6–8 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and training.
Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
Experience with labor management systems and productivity initiatives preferred.
Lean Six Sigma certification is a differentiator.
Proficiency with enterprise tech: Advanced Excel, Outlook/Gmail, project management software, WMS, and workflow tools.
Ability to present information clearly to managers, clients and internal/external customers.
Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
Experience leading teams of 40+ employees and managing performance of direct reports.

Responsibilities

Establish operational procedures for verification of shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and inventory accuracy.
Maintain physical condition of warehouse and equipment; submit repairs and replacements as needed.
Coordinate with customer service and sales to align warehouse activities.
Ensure safe operation, sanitation, maintenance, and housekeeping in the warehouse.
Manage budget and P&L for the operation.
Drive operational excellence across warehouse areas, equipment, and systems.
Maintain proper layout of warehouse and product placement; monitor KPI performance.
Oversee timekeeping for direct reports and reporting teams.
Lead culture change within facilities and participate in hiring/training supervisory staff.
Address complaints and resolve problems.
Monitor sanitation and take corrective actions as needed.
