Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Site Leader to drive budget, people development, and operations excellence at the Perrysburg fulfillment site. You will lead and coach a team of Operations and Area Managers, set performance expectations, and mentor leaders to meet objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of equivalent experience.
• 7+ years direct management experience in manufacturing, production or distribution.
• Experience with performance metrics, process improvement and Lean methodologies.
• Experience with full staffing lifecycle: interviewing, hiring, performance management and promotions.

Responsibilities

• Drives creation of quality initiatives and Lean initiatives to meet business plans.
• Responsible for safety, quality, performance and customer experience of inbound or outbound operations.
• Sets requirements for Operations and Area Managers; measures performance and provides feedback.
• Leverages managers to source ideas and create improvement plans for the area.
• Ensures best practices are shared across departments, shifts and the network.
• Collaborates with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT to secure resources for projects.
